Our in-home sitting service ensures we arrive promptly at the scheduled date and time. Whether it’s a brief hour to calm your dog while you run errands, an overnight stay for your convenience, or a longer vacation period, we cater to your needs. Rest assured, our Dog Care Specialists, all background-checked, provide trustworthy care. Services include potty breaks, walks, feeding, and medication administration. Our goal is to offer personalized attention in a familiar environment to keep your urban pooch happy and calm while you’re away. Some clients opt for nanny cams for peace of mind, which we fully support. We only require access to your home, whether through a key or smart lock, and sleeping arrangements, which are discussed beforehand. Typically, we stay overnight and check in during the day, but we’re flexible to accommodate your preferences.
Billing is super simple. When registering as a client, a credit card is added to your profile. Once a service is booked, the credit card on file is charged the next day at 9AM EST. The service is now prepaid and our team will show up as booked. No worries if you need to cancel a previously booked service that has already been billed, we’ll just add a credit for the amount that was billed to your account for you to use for a future service.
Our Process

Step 1
Click the “Book now” button and then enter your details in the form that opens up. This form is then provided to our team to review and approve.
Step 2
Open the “Welcome email” that is sent to the email address you provided in the form.
Step 3
Click the “Activate Your Account” button in the email and finish setting up your profile.
Step 4
Download our app using the links provided in the “Welcome email” or by clicking the buttons below once you have completed setting up your profile.
Step 5
Log into the app to conveniently book services from all your devices.
Step 6
Navigate to the “Scheduling” selection to add a service. Previously booked services can also be viewed in this section.
Step 7
Select the service you would like to book, enter the requested information and submit the service for approval.
Step 8
Urban Pooch’s then reviews the service, approves the request and assigns the service to a specialist close to your postal code.
Step 9
The credit card associated with your profile will then be billed for the service the next day regardless of whether the service is that day or not, once the service has been approved and assigned by Urban Pooch’s.
Don’t worry, if you need to cancel a previously booked service that has already been billed, we’ll just add a credit for the amount that was billed to your account for you to use for a future service.
Step 10
Urban Pooch’s will then show up to complete the service on the scheduled day and time.
Step 11
Once the service is completed, a service report will be sent through the app confirming the service has been completed.
