Mental health is a fundamental right, yet millions lack access to essential resources. Urban Pooch’s Foundation, a registered charity, is on a mission to change this. We provide financial aid for mental health support dogs, personal therapy, and mental health prescription drugs. Join us in combating the $1.5 Billion government funding shortfall and making a difference.
Our Mission
Urban Pooch’s Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to providing mental health resources to those in need and do not have access.
Our crucial support includes:
Offering financial aid for mental health support dogs.
Offering financial aid for therapy resources by a licensed mental health practitioner.
Offering financial aid for mental health prescription drugs.
Need financial aid for a mental health support dog, therapy, or mental health prescription drugs? Click the button below and fill out our application form. A member of our foundation will then be in touch to discuss your situation in confidence.
We also tackle various initiatives that champion mental health. Currently we are working to build social, judgement free, anonymous spaces for people who suffer from mental illness to be able to comfortably engage socially (a fundamental aspect of mental illness recovery). We are also working on changing the harassment law in Canada to incorporate passive aggressive behaviour as a form of harassment in the workplace. To learn more about these initiatives and get involved, visit our Current Initiatives page.
